Creating accessible opportunities for young Arab talent in the Israeli high-tech industryIntroducing Beyond Dev
Beyond Dev is a gateway into the high-tech industry for highly talented and capable young Arab academics who lack the relevant credentials. The program closes this gap by upskilling and retraining post-graduates, placing them into well-paying technological positions, and supporting them throughout their first year of employment.
Participants are chosen through a competitive selection process, after which they undergo several months of professional training, designed according to their background (tech/non-tech) and industry needs. Future employers are engaged from the very beginning – to carefully validate the program, ensure its high professional level, and optimally set up candidates for future employment. This significant preparation is then followed up with employee placement and facilitation of a smooth integration into the high-tech industry across a range of professions, including automated and manual QA testing, Business Analysis (BA), Data Management (Extract, Transform, Load – ETL), Business Intelligence (BI), and more.
Beyond Dev was established in cooperation with Young Business Leadership, a non-profit organization aiming to develop young leadership and excellence across different communities in Israel, and in partnership with Eshkol Hasharon Regional Economic Cluster.

Why Beyond Dev
The Beyond Dev program identifies talented, motivated, and ambitious Arab post-graduates – from both STEM and non-STEM tracks – who are eager to integrate into the fast-growing tech sector, if only they had the relevant credentials. Their choice of an academic path at a younger age, with little-to-no-guidance, living, and therefore studying in the geographical periphery (mainly in colleges), all contribute to academic choices that often cannot be leveraged into a lucrative and exciting future career in the high-tech industry.
Channeling their wider education and diverse worldview, this promising pool of candidates is quickly fine-tuned with support and training in everything from the soft skills required for interviewing and teamwork, to the hard tech, practical skills required for the exact industry role. Through Beyond Dev’s intensive program, these under-represented individuals are primed to launch into an exciting, challenging, and rewarding career, becoming an invaluable resource for the high-tech world and larger Israeli community.
