The Druze community in the Galilee is home to some of the most talented young men. Many are graduates of top tier hi-schools in STEM tracks, and some hold Practical Engineer or full Engineer degrees. With this wealth of talent, Five-Tech aims to create tech career opportunities for graduates of the Druze community. However, the integration of these young men into Israel’s high-tech industry, which is heavily concentrated in the center of Israel, has been hindered by cultural and social barriers.
Rooted in the Druze community and understanding its unique challenges and aspirations, Five-Tech is aimed at integrating these young Druze Men into the hi-tech industry in Israel, bridging cultural gaps and providing leading hi-tech companies with a yet, untapped talent. We harness the potential of this unique talent, via an intense process of selection, training and placement, overcoming their previous gaps, and equipping the participants of this program with the skills necessary to succeed in the dynamic field of hi-tech. Through our comprehensive approach, we demonstrate how to integrate the Druze community into the Israeli hi-tech sector effectively.

The training is customized to employers’ requirements, and employers also benefit from attractive financial incentives provided through government programs. Our program is carefully designed to address the crucial question of how to become a hi-tech professional, tailored specifically for Druze youth. effectively supporting the integration of Druze in the high-tech industry while respecting cultural norms.
The program is led by a seasoned local Software engineer as CEO, and it features a dedicated Tech Lead (CTO) who actively participates in the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for graduates into their new roles as well as maintaining professional standard and cohesive community spirit that helps to ensure low attrition for employers.
Additionally, 5-Tech offers a flexible work model that combines on-site work at employers’ locations with remote work from a dedicated tech hub within the Druze community. This hybrid approach is designed to balance professional opportunities with the unique characteristics of the Druze community.
